Sam Prekop has been the frontman for The Sea and Cake since the Fall of 1993. Since that time he has also released two solo records. Sam is also known as a painter and photographer with his work gracing the covers of some of his albums including this year’s Everybody album with its geometric shot of the tiles in front of a doorway.

In November, Sam will be publishing his first book of photographs titled “Photographs.” The book of monochrome shots will be published by Press Pop. Along with the 56-page hardcover book will come a CD of instrumental music inspired by the book performed by Prekop.
